Certainly, so far as archeology has been able to trace the beginnings of culture, from the first, men have struggled to understand themselves and the
world in which they live and have been aware, even
if dimly, of a power or powers outside themselves which they have either revered or feared and have endeavored to
find ways of propitiating and of bringing to their assistance.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves
in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club
in England, Spain, France and Germany
in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have
found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no
world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team
in the
world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and
if we don't demand that those
in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same
way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do
if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
If the player wasn't working out for us, it has usually been because he either was never
world class to begin with, or Wenger couldn't
find a
way to utilize the player
in a
way where he might show some
world class.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute...
if you look at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no
way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season,
if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is
way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet
finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players
in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit...
if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon,
if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many
ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and
way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some
world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Although I've
found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it
in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets
in the
World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun
in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix...
if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this
way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile
in recent years is out of utter frustration...
in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
doesn't really matter
if wenger buys every player
in the
world...... with his own hands, he'd still
find a
way to mess up the whole system and ruin the team.....
Joining a club of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement of how our players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list of players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured of all players at the club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him
if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good at first but wenger
found a
way to reduce his level of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready to become a
world beater. But wenger decided to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better player than this.Theo walcott - Another player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it
in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary players he was often compared to during his time at real madrid. On coming to arsenal he
found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for players. And when at arsenal you have to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same player for the next many years. That is why each and every player are what they are because of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is
in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs to take that responsibility
Even
if we did ever amass 11 truly
world class players, Arsene at the helm would
find a
way to put them
in the wrong positions, or set them up tactically incorrect, or would
find a
way to insert Ramsey / Jack / Gibbs / Giroud / Theo / The Ox when none of them have proven that they have what it takes to perform at that level.
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough...
if you look around the sporting
world every once
in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different
way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely
in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to
find a
way to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually
find a
way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike...
in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that
if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens
in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a
world - class set - up man goals need to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers...
in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be
in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be
if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to
find disappointment at the Emirates
if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
I started googling
way back
in may who could we be buying gonzalo higuian, julio cesar and wayne rooney but realize going by history wenger just as no interest
in buying
world class players, he wants 2 buy d grade players and turn them up to koscienly nd nasri that will take years while da arsenal faithful pay handsome figures for dismal performances, fans allowed wenger 2 get away when he gets away with these lucky matches of fenerbache been strong on paper but a waste of tym on the pitch, also it happen at bayern but they put a slighty weak team but wenger runt his mouth around of how good da team was after that 2 - 0 win, not forgetting it was bould that got the team defense looking solid while wenger moan about referee decisions and no blame on team, I just feel we (arsenal) have allowed wenger and co to misuse us, so now our main target aim is benzema yet giroud plays more often than him for france, can any1 see how wenger is lowing our standards and expectations at arsenal, I wil be over da moon
if wenger does not sign an extension wit us, after the gilberto days and disaterous results and teams we play, his approach to the game defensely which is pathetic and his annoying behaviour. So what
if manu and chelski haven't really bought they are already strong it was seen last week now we should be worried about our selves since that villa defeat, jst imagine what the man's and london money maniac's are goin 2 do to us, I can see it already coming from wenger,
if we
find the right player we will buy him, after sept2, we didn't
find da right player but the squad can challenge for the title, its so sick having 2 hear that crap, just take him psg, I just wish the fans would say we had enough of this bullshit transfer policies its time we stood up against these pigs of directors by protesting!
He is still young and more or less not going to have a problem playing every week at his present club, The new owner who is a Russian with plenty of money to spend on players has no need to sell and will spend the same sort of money we will and at moment the
way Ithey are playing and the
way we are they would have no trouble turning us over, We need to go back to grass roots which is what the majority want produce local talent and actually give them a chance
in the first team, Play entertaining football all the time not respect the point (they will come
if you play well) There is talent all over the
world we need to
find it, Howe is showing the
way and
in years to come may be a great England Manager but not for us right now and
if I was him I would stay put

So many news to share with you guys, to begin i want to thank my faithful readers to follow the site and the social media accounts (twitter and instagram), today the site celebrates its 11 years online, and it's because michelle's fan base gets bigger day by day and your support to the site that my interest is still here, i love michelle and her carrer
in the same way since the begining, but her choices made me a bigger fan and picked my interest, i'm particulary fan of all her last movies, all her upcoming movies intrigues me, they're all so different and more my kind of movies, the last movie i saw in theaters was OZ, and my two favorite movies of Michelle are shutter Island and Me Without You (not very known, but if you find it, you should watch it, for the story, for Michelle, the music) so i look forward to see her in All The Money In The World (December 27 in france) and The Greatest Showman (End of January), so thank you for your visits, your nice comments, generally i always put a new design for the site's birthday but i didn't have the time, so when we will get a new photoshoot, i will change the design, i like this one very much, and again THANK Y

And to listen to different perspectives,
if we are to
find ways of connecting, not only
in this country, but to help people around the
world, because we must understand that what happens
in our country is directly connected to what happens throughout the
world.
