Ice cream is a serious love affair for me, and so often
I find vegan ice creams to be, well, a little disappointing.
Not exact matches
As a beginner
vegan (4 days) I am so glad I
found this I am the only
vegan in this house of 7 and i almost cried watching my family eat
ice cream without me.
Luckily it's already
vegan, so I didn't have to
find a new
ice cream when I decided to forgo dairy.
(I've yet to
find a nice
vegan butter pecan
ice cream though!)
Good
vegan ice cream is so hard to
find!

It's funny but when I wasn't
vegan I wasn't a big
ice cream eater... but now that I am
vegan and
finding all sorts of amazing
vegan ice cream recipes it has inspired me to look for an icecream maker when I am out shopping at secondhand stores!
=) I love a little
vegan ice cream treat now and again, but I'm disappointed that I can't
find some of the less traditional flavours.
Or, if you really want to get creative, and can
find a variety that suits your dietary needs, try melting some
vegan ice cream and using it in place of the coconut
cream.
Other
vegan finds in the Street Food Karavan were a Hungarian potato and vegetable bread bowl and coconut milk - based nitrogen
ice cream.
I've
found that cashews make the best / creamiest
vegan ice cream as well.
This is a take on recipe I
found on Serious Eats, and by far has the best texture of any
vegan ice cream I've tried.
When he realized how popular his products were — not only for people with kosher diets, but also for
vegans — Mintz
found ways to use tofu in a variety of products including Tofutti Cuties and Tofutti Fruttis, which are similar to
ice cream sandwiches, as well as cookies, cakes, tuna casserole and even beef stroganoff, where it stood in for sour
cream.
Superbrugsen also have
vegan cheese, sausages and
ice cream whilst Irma matches the
ice cream selection but also has houmous and various Oatly products we couldn't
find elsewhere such as creme fraiche and
cream.
My personal favourite is the gluten - free Bircher, which so far I've tried with my macadamia and seeded milks, and sprinkled on my nana and pumpkin
ice creams, and homemade coconut yoghurt, just some of > 65 recipes you can

I may try this recipe again with a real egg, since I'm not actually
vegan and
found the odd husk of flax meal annoying to eat (we put the brownie dust on top of
ice cream!).
I am French and I have been struggling with
icing... In fact, I don't
find any «
vegan cream chesse» in France... What could i use to replace it?
Since they live in New York,
finding vegan food and snacks — and let's acknowledge the # 1 priority here,
ice cream — is pretty easy.
