Every year, millions
of people abandon the institutional way
of doing church, not because they are abandoning God, Jesus, or the Church, but because they
find that intimate relationships with others and
loving service in the community apart from the systematized and scheduled meetings on Sunday morning is a more natural way
of following Jesus and
living life as His disciples.
That was a very interesting read many comments caught my attention I've recently been diagnosed with Bipolar I have hallucinations and hear voices in my ear's when I hallucinate it's likes they are trying to get me thousands
of them I can only describe them
as dark shadows and they are trying to get me just
as they are about to get me a brilliant white light surrounds me and there's three entities humanly shaped but like this brilliant white light they are also glowing this brilliant whiteness I can't understand what they are saying the only way I can explain it is emotions comfort joy
love is what I feel emanating from these entities the voices I hear aren't evil telling me to do bad things to people when I get put into a mode
of fear I
live in a rough area
of Scotland and everytime I've got into a fight something possesses me I know this for a fact
as I can't control myself I'm an observer watching my family / Friends say I change they say my eyes change and I look evil I personally do think possibly through my own personal experience I» am possessed
as I act out
of character I've lost interest in many things I've recently I decided it's time for change I've lost my faith I've been trying to connect with God and feel his
love which I used to feel the presence
of the holy spirit everytime I try connect I get a feeling
of abandonment I just think if I am possessed could these entities stop me connecting with «God» I can say from my heart
of hearts «JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH» I think it's more to do with the persons own personal fears which I have noticed my fears have changed if I had to be truthfully with myself I fear God which I know I'm not supposed to just I can't explain it I guess if you ever need a test subject I'm up for the challenge like I said I'm on journey to
find myself and my travels have brought me hear I'm going to hang around for a wee while there's lots
of good information to be plundered loll
Some
of these pioneers in changing the church

For me, better still is to
find the peace that passes all understanding in communities that

What does it matter when we die what is important is what we do with our
life now.The struggles people
find themselves is because
of living a sinful lifestyle you cant play with fire and not get burnt there are consequences.Jesus wants to bring forgiveness and healing and remove the guilt and shame that you are feeling.Ive have been there i was just
as guilty i do nt believe theres a big screen that replays our
life if it is it, it will be about what we have done for God
as our sins are covered under the blood
of Jesus. The judgement for christians is that we must give an account
of what we did for Jesus while we were here did we make the most
of opportunities given to tell others to reach out others with his love.Mat 25:14 - 30 the Parable
of the talents talks about judgement and for me it is all about what we do for Jesus the ones who are faithfull in the small things are set over much. The one who did nt use his talent that God gave him was punished for his lack
of faith. So for those who are struggling with sin and
life Jesus
loves you and has a plan for your
life just trust him to help you and he will.To be fair its wont be easy you will have to make some hard choices but he promises to help you through its all about choosing him over choosing what we think best because he knows whats best for us.Its important the choice you make
as it will impact your
life for eternity.brentnz
Hence we have every right to think that in that dynamic
life which is unsurpassable and hence divine there is, not a becoming more divine, which would be absurd, but an increasing capacity for
finding occasions through which God may employ, in one way or another, that which is always remembered; and also, in this very action
as it continues on in God's relationship with creation, a growing acceptance
of those who have contributed to the cosmic enterprise
of love at work in creation.
In his new book, The New Rules for
Love, Sex & Dating Stanley talks about why, in order to
find the person we're going to spend the rest

The great motive was
love of neighbor and this was
found to be in a certain tension with the
love of God, since the latter prompted a servant
of the Lord to shun worldly duties
as well
as distractions and to give his
life to adoration and contemplation in monastic seclusion.
What matters here is that the total witness
found in the Gospels,
as well
as in the epistles
of Paul, John, and others, is to an activity
of God in human existence and through a human activity, through which «newness
of life» has been known; God has been seen
as sheer
Love - in - action, and human existence has been given meaning and value
as a potential agency for divine
Love in the world and in human affairs.
We bring to the analysis whatever we have gained from our interpretation
of the central disclosure
of God's
love in Jesus Christ, and we bring to it also the illumination we have
found in the doctrine that God's
life is in process
as he involves himself in the growth, becoming and travail
of the world.
Tommy God has already forgiven you for your sin the moment you asked Jesus into your
life and confessed him
as Lord. From that point he paid for your sin in full past present future. It is not sin that stops us from being with the Lord so you are saved. The problem you are experiencing is the battle for your
life in the here and now satan is out to destroy you and he knows our weaknesses. If you are honest there were already issues in your
life that you struggled with and never got the victory over.So where do you go from here
as i
found myself in the same situation i was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt change his mind he always
loves us but because
of our choices we distance ourselves from God.The issue is that we like sin thats our wicked hearts and to be fair we cant change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must be crucified with Christ. The stumbling block is our pride we have to admit that we cant do it For me that was terribly difficult i was so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth was a made a real mess
of things.I sense you are at a crossroads and are feeling desperate and confused. So
as a brother in the Lord you need to confess your sin to God and tell him that you are weak -LCB- we all are -RCB- and that you cant do it in your strength -LCB- None
of us can -RCB- but ask him to send the holy spirit to help you deal with the temptations and the sin that you struggle with and he will help you to change your
life he will empower you
as he did me.Rather than look at who you are look to Christ and walk in him and he will make you a new man and sin will not have dominion over you.Jesus came to set us free from bondage.Having once been a slave to sin i know what it is like to have been set free by the power
of God and that is what Christ is offering you today. All it takes is a desire to change or repent and admit we cant do it and trust him to give you the strength to walk in him regards brentnz

while breifly going thru this artical it was makeing my stomach turn, this is just what the devil wants is for doubt and confusion, christianity is growing stronger than ever, souls are being saved and
lives are changing every day, and do nt for one minute think any different, or try tp put christians down, why would we loose faith, god answers our prayers everyday, think what you want and do what you do, but do nt try to put things in other people's opinion or minds, jesus died for our sins, so that we can have better
lives and be forgiven for our sins here on earth and move on to a beter place, becouse souls do nt die «read the bible, if you do nt understand it,
find a church that can help you learn a better way

It has been prepared to say, and to
find varying kinds
of theological support for saying, what their Christian insight should have compelled it to say in any case: that any human being, anywhere, who has shared in
love, sought for truth, created or admired beauty,
lived bravely, served goodness, stood for justice, and has thus responded,
as far
as was possible under the circumstances in which he or she
lived, to whatever
of divine reality has been made known, must somehow be included in the company
of the faithful.
Tim i
found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I
love the people and i
love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him
as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because
of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part
of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans
as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change
as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my
life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all
as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just
as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
God accepts whatever we bring to the God / person relationship — our physical and spiritual condition, personality, connection to reality, our participation in relationships, talents, inabilities, cognition, knowledge, ignorance,
life journey, spiritual journey, walk about, wandering, seeking, questioning, questing, acceptance
of God, rejection
of God — and our emotional and mental status: hate /
love, anger / peace, sadness / happiness, hurt / health, feeling lost and abandoned / feeling
found and included, agitation / serenity, apathy / passion, confusion / clarity, fractures / wholeness — all
of this, all
of whoever we are and have ever been and every action committed or ever contemplated and every thought we ever explored or entertained or that flitted through our mind — all
of this, we bring to the God / person relationship and God accepts the totality
of who we are and every component that comprises who we are —
as a gift.
For us, we gather to discuss Scripture, to encourage each other, to hear each others stories
of where we saw Jesus working, to work alongside each other
as we serve the community in Jesus» name Then we each depart to follow Jesus in our everyday day
lives, to
find opportunities daily to
love our neighbors.
When we speak
of the double efficacy
of the risen Christ
as ideal and
as objective datum for present becoming, we might do better to speak
of a «triple efficacy»
of the
love of Christ, for that faith,
love, and communion with God which are Christ's
find innumerable, if only partial, echoes in the
lives of individual believers and in that system
of relationships which they comprise within the world.
The Bible invites us to
live as children
of God who
find our highest joy and intended destiny in
loving fellowship with each other and with our Creator.
The Kingdom
of God is a reality here and now, but can be perfect only in the eternal order... The primary principle
of Christian Ethics and Christian Politics must be respect for every person simply
as a person... The person is primary, not the society; the State exists for the citizen, not the citizen for the State... freedom is the goal
of politics... Freedom, Fellowship, Service — these are the three principles
of a Christian social order, derived from the more fundamental Christian postulates that Man is a child
of God and is destined for a
life of eternal fellowship with Him...
Love...
finds its primary expression through Justice — which in the field
of industrial disputes means in practice that each side should state its own case
as strongly
as possibly it can before the most impartial tribunal available...
Andrei
finds wisdom in fearlessness: «When he regained consciousness after being wounded, and in his soul, instantly,
as if freed
of the restraining weight
of life, that flower
of love opened, eternal, free, not bound to this
life, he was no longer afraid
of death and did not think
of it.»
Kind
of wish I could
find a congregation
of people who really do know God
as a
living being, their source
of daily light and advice, who
love each other and take care
of the poor and widows — all the stuff the churches to do well but without the stuff the churches shouldn't middle in but do.
Only when Christ
as the
living Word
of God's
love is accepted, can the words
of the Bible
find their proper context.
Some
find the meaning
of life in a present, intimate and manageable kind
of human
love, such
as that for another person, or in the ecstasies
of group belonging.
But if one is thinking
of life «in
love»
as an authentic possibility for every man, wherever and whenever he has happened to
live out his mortal existence, then I must say that I both understand and
find strength in the argument.
By accepting the wonderful «challenge
of orthodoxy» that is the placing
of Christ at the center
of their
lives, clergy
of all stripes would
find the inspiration to minister God's
love to all the baptized
as they labored to promote the Kingdom
of God.

As a non Believer, what I
find amusing is the attributes people choose to equate with their God, for instance, all the good and beautiful things in
life are a results
of Gods «
love», and all the bad and ugly things in
life are a results
of mans choices, not God's dislike for us.
When marital relationships are considered within an understanding
of creation
as gift, and
of the gift which the spouse is, then a central key has been
found to
living these relationships with a firm
love and peaceful joy.
He had not thought
of them
as individuals — young men and women who fall in
love and want homes, folks who have babies and cherish for them the same ambitions which he feels for his, human beings who
find this earth a perplexed and tangled place in which to
live, and who want more leisure, more comfort, and more liberty.
To start with I
found this really hard, but
as my

found hobbies in that sector that made me equally happy, it became so much easier — although
of course I still have my moments

In researching my books, «The Expectant Father» and «The New Father: A Dad's Guide to the First Year,» I
