If it's easier for you buy whole blanched
almonds and grind them yourself than that's
fine but I wouldn't sub

I do a simpler version to get my
almond meal — just process whole
almonds in the blender / processor — then pass the
almond meal through a
fine mesh sieve to make sure only the
fine parts pass through, and then return the coarser parts back to the processor and process again.
