Her paintings are in museum collections including the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., the Museum of the City of New York, and the Museum of Fine Arts in St Petersburg, Florida, to name a few, and she has work in more than 50 corporate collections and hundreds of private collections in this country and abroad.
The artwork of Willie Birch can be found in museum collections as well as public and private collections across the country, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
After graduating in 2008 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Maria Anwander has done several residencies in various countries including Bilbao Arte, Spain; Harlem Studio, New York; Casino, Luxembourg and Oficina de Arte, in Mexico City, which has helped her grow artistically.
