Like when I decided the dining room HAD to be repainted before Thanksgiving this year, that took away a decent amount of time from instead finishing the items mentioned above.

The wall that you see unfinished will have cedar shiplap on it like we have above our fireplace in the living room so there was no need to put finishing touches on it.
