yeah killzone 2 does not use Resistance 2's water at all... in fact I've never seen water that looks like that of killzone 2 yet... it has
multiple layers with
multiple real - time reflections... but, at least for the big moving water body in the demo... there are no physics like uncharted or R2 incorporated... if you shoot it, there is a huge plume of water that jets upward, but no real ripples in the body... it still looks great, at the ripples wouldn't look right with the waves and the current of the water... but its definitely not an R2 water engine or anything... however killzone 2 does have the ripples in other areas... puddles will react to
bullet fire apparently... and there are areas of flooded buildings with «still» water... that do have the uncharted like ripples according to some... but the big flowing river does not...
It's classic shoot em up with some new elements like
multiple fire modes,
bullet spread patterns, upgrades within said patterns to have even more firepower to unleash, upgrades to your wings, bombs,
fire modes, armor, missles,
multiple wing types, skills and upgrades for those plus a research tech tree and you can even colonialize the planets you liberate!
Once more, these all do what you would expect allowing players to go invisible, become ghosts,
fire off
multiple bullets depending on their rank in game, fly with a jetpack, or bounce like they are on a trampoline.
Bullets can ricochet off of
multiple surfaces, and before long, you'll be
firing rounds into the ceiling above you to hit targets on the other side of the room.
When I play a twin - stick shooter, I generally expect to be nimbly dancing around the incoming
fire of
multiple enemies while hosing them down with thousands of

We don't find it holds as much interest as the main campaign, but it does offer
multiple maps to play with and plenty of
