J.R.R. Tolkien's
first The Hobbit novel titled The Hobbit or There and Back Again was published on September 21st 1937, while The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings novels have been adapted into huge blockbuster films.
And — to the owner Fredrik Sandell's big surprise — without any real marketing efforts from their side, visitors from all over the world have started to find their way to Sweden's
first Hobbit Hotel.

I'm not an aficionado of J.R.R. Tolkien's wonderworlds and I was bored with
the first Hobbit movie.
Yeah I know we had the same kind of nonsense in the first trilogy and
first Hobbit film, but I hated that kind of stuff then too.
If you liked
the first hobbit your probably going to like this, for those looking for a good fantasy film to see this year, this is a good choice to go see (though I think Thor 2 Dark world would be a better choice.)

Throw in Joss Whedon tackling The Avengers, the

Hobbit movies, James Bond's next adventure, the opening chapter of The Hunger Games, new films from Wes Anderson, David O. Russell, Judd Apatow, P.T. Anderson, Alfonso Cuarón, Whit Stillman, the Coen brothers (maybe), and more of our favorite directors, and we can't imagine a better year for movies.
Our
first Film Friday of the new year has brand - new trailers and clips for upcoming films like «Battle: Los Angeles» and «Paul,» casting news for «The
Hobbit» and «The Dark Knight Rises,» and much more.
The
Hobbit is too long and at times a little hard to look at, but fans of Tolkien and / or the
first trilogy are bound to be thrilled with a return trip to Middle Earth.

Hobbit ever match the excellence of his
first trilogy?
I'm convinced that the
first part of Peter Jacksons
hobbit trilogy will be considered as a text book example of how to adapt a novel in the future.
