During the
first few days of switching to
Low Carb High Fat, I had to white knuckle through a phase realistically termed the «Keto or
Low Carb Flu».
First week in of IF
low carb /
high fat -(no breakfast / only bulletproof coffee) I lost 1 kg.
Now I am eating a
high carb low fat diet and LOSING weight, and feeling relaxed and centered for the
first time in two years.
I lost about 10 pounds in the
first week when I switched to a
high -
fat,
low -
carb (or no -
carb, some days) diet.
Ketosis Diets —
high in protein,
low in
carbs, moderate in
fats — my experience is that this feels great at
first — because you feel like you're doing the perfect «proper» diet plan — and you get excited to lose weight, but then when your hormones shift mid cycle — it's impossible to fight your
carb cravings and major falling off the wagon, binge
carbing ensues.
That's problematic, considering that those organizations, along with the AMA, are the organizations that
first encouraged the

carb,
low -
fat Western diet that is now destroying the health of America.
