This will give the beta readers a full five weeks to read your book; the last four weeks of
your first draft stage and the first week of your editing stage.
In most cases, the longer you spend on your outline, the faster you'll be able to write during
the first draft stage.
To save time, give your readers your rough draft copy after each week of
your first draft stage.
Now I can get back to the next WiP and bring that to
First Draft stage!
It's exactly what you're supposed to have at
the first draft stage.
(Please be aware that your novel may still be at
the first draft stage, even if you've written several drafts... Many new authors fiddle with sentence structure and word choice, and imagine that they're writing a draft.
- Line editing client manuscripts («editorial» agents do this, but not usually at
the first draft stage).
