Despite the fact that I studied photography,
my first food photos were embarrassingly bad.
Not exact matches
But not all of my
food photos are great or even good, particularly the ones taken during my
first six months.
We eat with our eyes
first and, therefore, crave stunning
photos that promote the desire to purchase your
food - or drink - related brand.
Ok, so I'm the
first to admit that this isn't the most appetizing
food photo you will ever see, but it tastes good.
It's the
first time I have ever done that with the
food blog
photos in the 6 years I have been blogging!
The
first few years, my submission acceptance hovered around 30 % — actually not too bad for the gold - standard of
food photo sharing sites.
When I
first started this blog in 2010, I posted a recipe for chocolate - chip and double chocolate meringues, with a really ugly
photo, before I learned that you never, ever want to use a flash for
food photography.
I was really looking forward to your

food photo montage mixes, and these are beautiful!
Both recipe and technique sound very interesting but what really fascinates me here is the
food styling in the
first photo — that is some truly fantastic work!

Not only was this my
first guest post ever (and the end result amazingly delicious too), but the

food photo I've ever taken... and the one that made me think I just may be getting the hang of this

Last month I shared some
food photos from my weekend visit to Seoul, S. Korea, which was the
first stop on my way to two wonderful weeks of eating showing Paula around and seeing friends in Japan.

food photos that blogger Laura shares on her blog.
First I shared on TLT the lead magazine story by Nicholas Confessore on school
food politics (my companion New York Times Motherlode piece is here) and this morning on TLT's Facebook page I shared a cool
photo spread on kids» breakfasts around the world.

20 hour transformation

food with my whole tummy relaxed and the third was this morning again after working out I've posted a
photo like this before but I just wanted to remind you that it's normal for your stomach to get bigger after large meals and that our bodies don't look the same throughout the day!
I bribed our herd of cats with
