That, unfortunately, leads me to

with many of the same

first game.
I have played the entire X series and I have experienced
issues from time to time in relation to performance and
game play however, this is the
first time I have been really disappointed
with EGOSOFT.

issues do arise and make themselves very noticeable the

first I have to admit that this review was going to be largely negative as the
game was plagued
with issues in its Early Access days.
My main
issue with the
game was it was pretty difficult at
first, but then seemed to get easier the longer it went on, mainly because you earn a bunch of extra lives and then when you die, your sub-ammo (missiles and crap) gets refilled so I'd use that to my advantage and cheese my way through some of the boss fights, where I'd spam my missiles and then die on purpose to refill them and then spam some more.
Each stage in the
game takes players through various London landscapes, all of which are quite interesting to gaze at in passing, however whilst they come off as 2D in appearance, gameplay is actually more 2.5 D. And that brings us to my
first issue with Bloody Zombies.
The big
issue here is that the
game doesn't evolve — what you see in the
first level is what you'll be seeing at level 100 — true, the difficulty will get harder and it will randomly generate puzzles which require more selections in order to resolve the
issue, but the premise will always be the same
with no new mechanics thrown into the mix.
The
game has quite a few
issues with Matchmaking and Team Balance currently and as a result got review bombed heavily on its
first day.
The
first game, although sold well, suffered from a lack luster reception

This was also one of the
first Macross
games to see a potential Western release but due to the complex rights
issues associated
