Nearly a year ago, this blog
first reported that
legal research service Fastcase would launch an artificial intelligence sandbox for law firms — a testing environment where firms would have access to various AI
platforms and data sets, as well as be able to bring in their own data.
Its
first investment was Ross Intelligence, the University of Toronto start - up that developed digital
legal research assistant Ross, an AI application built on IBM Watson's
platform.
It's a unique publication — as far as I know, the
first serious
legal research tool released for that
platform.
In what it says is an industry
first for a
legal research platform, LexisNexis today is launching a multimedia civil procedure practice guide within Lexis Advance that includes not only text but also a series of more than 150 short videos embedded within the content.
