We saw ~ 20 people taking
photos of the recipe and it was the
first (and perhaps only
dish) to be completely cleaned out.
(And actually as I look at the
photo of this
dish, it seems pretty close to the Tomato Basil Magic salad that I love to make... which is probably what drew me to this recipe in the
first place!)
The

of this post is the full
dish as it is served in the restaurant, with plantain chips and pickled onions.
I love the champagne cork in your
first photo... its presence suggests a simple, elegant meal - this lovely bean
dish & a glass
of champagne... a toast to Spring!
I forgot to get a picture
of this
dish but you can kind
of see it in the
first photo - Zahra Maqlia — Fried cauliflower topped with tahini, parsley, garlic, lemon juice.
I would've written it sooner but a lot
of things had to happen
first, things I used to take for granted: I had to be able to prepare the
dish, photograph it in daylight, transfer and edit the
photos, think
of an interesting way to present the recipe, and ultimately, find time to sit down and write it.
