Each repetition needs to be performed from the dead stop just like the very
first repetition of the set.
During the next repetition attempt to touch the foot opposite of the foot that you did on
the first repetition.
Extend one foot out straight in front of you and retract your shoulders while tightening your core for
your first repetition.
The first repetition of an exercise might be reasonably easy but repetition 20 with that same weight might be an all - out effort.
This can be done at home but needs a partner who can lift the weight off for you for
the first repetition.

your first repetition, I recommend 2 simple exercises.

the first repetition is a Hang Clean, where he starts from the hang position and catches it as a full Clean, the second repetition is a Power Clean, where he starts from the ground and catches the bar above parallel.
