but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is
taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try...
first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind of player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because of his age and because he has never been an active coach
on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration of a change, and a good one... lets
take care of winning things and do nt look the economic side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a
chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..

even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a
chance to play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up play talents would been
on display for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position
on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry
on, which ultimately caused some discomfort
on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled for a position that shouldn't have been theirs for the
taking in the
first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving
on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with playing in North London for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move
on and buy a new and better coat

Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast
on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to
take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his
chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who
took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass
first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a
chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste

@almostawinner I totally agree with you we are good at creating
chances we reach very good positions but giroud is less than average he won't even play at some mid-tables teams beleive me he can't dribble he rarely
take long ranged shots he is not the best at movement I don't understand what do arsene wenger see in him to rely
on him as our
first choice We were going to get a striker three years ago (higuain) but the deal failed in the last second because wenger prefered to get ozil so what did giroud do to prove that he deserves his position can anybody tell me I really get mad when some arsenal fans tell that he is a good player because he is not!!
Telling me players are not to blame is absolutely rubbish, they are to blame, yes Monaco mission was to relax and repell Arsenal and if possible shut them down completely, this gam was ours to
take,
First the pressure was
on Monaco, they didn't know how to go about it, whether to defend their 3 - 1 advantage or press us, we had more than enough clear cut
chances but as usual we were clueless in front of goal, we tried to open them apart which is impossible, Carzolla and Alexis played as if we lead 15 - 0, holding balls, try to dribble every time they have the ball and and reduce the pace and any
chance of other to get through, losing balls carelessly, poor crosses is now our style, it doesn't threatened even Charlton athletic coz everyone now knows our crosses is poorly delivered and our attackers also don't have a clue how to do it even if one get through it will be wasted, this game should have been won by range attempts which was only tried once by ÖZIL and was blocked.

Unfortunately as is often the Arsenal way we managed to conspire to make the game difficult for ourselves, with a few minutes of the
first half remaining Ox found himself with the ball
on the edge of Everton's area, Hector available to his right and players closing, if he had managed to get a shot off
first time then we would not have been chasing back towards our own goal five seconds later, instead Ox chose to shoot after a couple of touches in to a mass of Everton bodies when there were better options
on, the ball broke to Delofeu who managed remarkably to stay
on his feet for twenty or so yards before releasing Barkley, Koscielny had been dragged wide by Lukaku and Ox and Hector were in hot pursuit, they both probably had a
chance to
take the booking but allowed Barkley to continue, he
took a speculative shot which would not have troubled Cech until it
took a big deflection off of Gabriel and drifted into the gaping net.
on scoring twice in the
first half... It's always a worry when you are in a big game and you don't
take your
chances.
I read somewhere that some said we're not clinical enough that is a culture at wenger has become too friendly with the players at Arsenal the players position are seldom under treat you play poorly for two weeks and you still make the team you missed a look at almunia retrospectively don't understand that hey if i get a
chance to score i must
take it the
first time cause i may not get a next one and you want the players to be clinical it must start from the top good work or none As was said
on a website to day Arsenal should parade through the streets of london in an open top Bus at the end of the season the accountants of the club and i will through wenger in there too cause to most of you he can do no wrong I love this club with all my heart and i can support no other club in football but to see for 5 seasons we can't show any vast improvement and keep making the same mistakes every year is hard to swallow it makes me sick but as wenger says judge me at the end i wonder what end he meant the end of the season or the end of his contract GO ARSENAL......................
