her first waist measurement, and will chart Maybelle's progress in the coming months by the number of inches she loses.

first completed a detailed food - frequency questionnaire along with a questionnaire regarding lifestyle and background factors (alcohol, smoking, physical activity, and years of education) as well as a brief physical examination including
measurement of
waist circumference.
According to the
measurements on the folder I should be absolutely fine with a size M, my bust
measurements is in this range but
waist and hips are in size S. However, my
first muslin test run proved otherwise.
This is the
first item I've ever had custom - made and to be honest, I was slightly generous in my
measurements, especially around my
waist.
I wasn't sure entirely where I fell, as my
measurements are 35 -27.5-38 and I generally fit my bust
first and take in the
waist as needed.
I opted to go for custom
measurements again, and it was just as easy as the
first time around (for reference, I am 35 - 36 ″ bust, 27 - 28 ″
waist, and 19 ″ shoulder to
waist (over bust) and 17 ″ nape to
waist).
As this was not my
first full - skirted rodeo, I knew to scale down ~ 3.5 meters of fabric to my
waist measurement.
