sun and not CO2 caused the
warming in the
first half of the 20th century but not in the second half is they have to in order to retain CO2 as their main cause of recent
warming.
However, in comparison with the solar case, the FIR photosphere of alpha Cen A appears marginally cooler, Tmin = T160mu = 3920 + / -375 K. Beyond the minimum near 160mu, the brightness temperatures increase and this radiation likely originates in
warmer regions of the chromosphere of alpha Cen A. To the best of our knowledge this is the
first time a temperature minimum has been directly measured on a main - sequence star other than the
Sun.

With everyone agreed that the day's conditions had been perfect for beginners just getting used to riding their
first waves, attentions were soon transfixed on the horizon as the
sun sank below the clouds, lighting up the ocean and gradually increasing its descent into the waves until all that remained was a
warm glow on the horizon.
... and there is a second impossibility compounding the
first one: during the last few decades of accelerating global
warming, the
Sun has been very precisely monitored from space, and its brightness hasn't shown any discernable trend.
DSCOVR was designed to directly measure climate change for the
first time ever by observing our
warming planet from the unique vantage of the Lagrange Point — one million miles towards the
Sun.

Couldn't an active
sun and strong El Nino's have created the
warming in the
first place?
The
sun warms the
first 100 - 200 meter directly (including the effect of mixing by waves and currents).
Conversely, during low solar activity during the Little Ice Age, transport of
warm water was reduced by 10 % and Arctic sea ice increased.17 Although it is not a situation I would ever hope for, if history repeats itself, then natural climate dynamics of the past suggest, the current drop in the
sun's output will produce a similar cooler climate, and it will likely be detected
first as a slow down in the poleward transport of ocean heat.22 Should we prepare for this possibility?
The reason the «experts» say the

Not only does it better describe the case of diminishing returns (the
first few molecules of pigment do the most darkening while added pigment never quite stops making it darker) but also how just a few ounces of black pigment change the temperature of a thousand pound car body sitting in the
sun from luke
warm to burning hot (illustrating how a tiny percentage of adulterant can have a large effect).

sun according to both the Bible and Shakespeare; and One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts would not purport to be the

warmed by the
sun.
So, basically, natural forcings drove the
warming from the
first half of the 20th century and earlier, via the
sun and solar cycles.
One effect among many is to reduce the temperature gradient within the skin layer of the ocean and hence reduce the rate of cooling of the upper mixed layer (the
first few meters of which are
warmed by the
Sun) to the atmosphere and also, radiatively, through the atmospheric infrared window, directly to space.
Then, for the benefit of the lay reader, who would not be expected to understand the clear (to a competent physical scientist) implication of this simply - stated fact, I wrote: «This in fact indicates that the Venusian atmosphere is heated mainly by incident infrared [not the VISIBLE portion, which is indeed largely reflected, defenders, but INFRARED] radiation from the
Sun, WHICH IS NOT REFLECTED BUT ABSORBED [or allowed in to heat the lower atmosphere] by Venus's clouds, rather than by
warming first of the planetary surface.
It is true however, that the
sun gained strength over the
first half of the 20th century, and thus contributed to
warming seen during that time, as is also described in the IPCC report.

I would agree that the science is good for a
first proposition that the world is
warming some, and that a part of that is due to CO2, and that we will see some more man - made
warming in the next century, on the order of about a degree C (if the
sun doesn't do anything radical).
First, the air in the earth's atmosphere is
warmest around the equator (because the
sun reaches the earth at a direct 90 ° angle) so that
warmer air rises and flows north and south of the equator.
Then, during five minutes, under the action of the
sun, its
warming, which becomes very rapid, is observed from minute to minute, and care is taken to keep the water incessantly agitated; at the end of the fifth minute the screen is replaced, the apparatus withdrawn into its
