fit to start most of them and if
Wenger love had played a part like you said then Welbeck wouldn't have been given a chance at the end of last season and Giroud would have had a lot more game time.
The problem is that any new manager will want to make their own signings to
fit their own style like Pochettino did at our friends down the road, but I doubt if Kroenke will make the funds available for that, plus other staff will need to be brought in, ideally at board level, to fill the other
roles that
Wenger does, like a director of football and / or technical director.
All of the available players that would
fit the two
roles are being snatched up and this means cheap alternatives or nothing at all and this is where I feel that we're heading, I hop Im wrong but Im failing to see where
wenger is going to get these two from.
Laurent Koscielny will be 30 next season + per would be 31 sign subotic & pair him with Gabriel we need depth given our injury records + per has been the only cb who has stayed
fit for an entire season last & this one we should still kepp him while chambers think
wenger will use in cdm

Wenger may do something as i agree with @MARKO that Wilshere is better in the DLP
role of santis than a DM of Le Coq, Ramsey would be abetter option in the DM tbh but Flamini will do until Jan until a suitable back up and challenger is bougjt for Francis!
Before doing all that,
Wenger would try to
fit Ozil in the central
role in the hope that he can find a key to his success.
So at least all Arsenal fans can stop expecting
Wenger to copy Hodgson by playing him as a DM, and we can all go back to wishing that

role, unless of course he intends to bring in Sami Khedira in january and use the German in that position.
Koscielny has been unveiled as the official club captain for this season and
Wenger has recently spoken about why he feels Koscielny not only

Danny Welbeck is
fit enough for the bench and I would have expected him to start but
Wenger has gone for Ozil in the wide forward
role, with Cazorla in the number 10 position, so with Alexis on the other side of the in form Giroud, there is plenty of pace and guile in our attack and with Liverpool having to replace the suspended Skrtel with the former Gunner Kolo Toure, we should give them plenty of problems.
In other circumstances I think
Wenger would start with Ramsey despite the risk that he might not be fully match
fit or up to speed, but at the minute he has the option of Alex Oxlade - Chamberlain and the young England international has been in fine form, although mainly in a wide forward
role.
I agree Xhaka is not
fitting well with the formation so far, but he could if directed to be a disciplined defender for the match in question, or otherwise sit down Ramsey (haha, like
Wenger will actually do that consistently) or put Ramsey in Ozil's
role (haha, like
Wenger will actually do that at all consistently either), have Xhaka play more B2B - ish style, and have Coquelin or new addition or perhaps Elneny take Xhaka's current spot.
With that being said, I really think
Wenger should go into the market in the summer and bring in another holding midfielder who is more
fit for the
role of anchoring the Gunners midfield.
Wenger has often used Emmanuel Eboue on the right side of attack to give the side balance with Arshavin allergic to defending on the other flank, but this is a
role that Rosicky is also
fit to play.
