When I began training for a
fitness competition in my
journey towards health, I began changing my diet and
taking these tips into account.
As you embark on your
fitness journey, you may want to
take a moment to ponder over some tidbits that will spur you on.
By
taking a picture in the locker room or in front of your bedroom mirror, little do you realize you're creating a photo time - lapse of your
fitness journey.
I have observed my
journey unfolding,
taking me from one end of a very mainstream spectrum teaching high school English, History and Psychology for two years, through the middle as a personal trainer,
fitness competitor, and too many 50 + hour weeks of management at
fitness facilities, to the opposite end, the beginning of a very off the beaten path spectrum where I landed after becoming a certified Yoga teacher in June 2009.
This motivating mindset can and should be
taken into the colder months, as
fitness is a never ending
journey!
Early in my
fitness journey I found this to be very helpful, as he
takes five basic bodyweight exercises and shows you progressions of each to increase the difficulty as you grow stronger.
