As far as rumors and leaks are concerned, everything is pointing towards Samsung shutting down the traditional
flat screen variants of their
flagship smartphones with the Galaxy S8.

screen displays found in the
flagship Galaxy smartphones, Samsung Display will supply
flat OLED panels like we've seen on the new A8 handsets for mid-range devices.
Not just this, the company is now saying Goodbye to the
flat screen models of its
flagships, and both S8 and S8 + have the dual curved
screen.
It has already been claimed that Samsung will drop the
flat screen design from its
flagship phones and instead, both models will carry an edge - to - edge
screen — hence the need for a name change.
We remember when we had the chance to test the Galaxy Round all those years ago; that felt great, and we all know how the Galaxy Note Edge acted as the precursor to the curved Edge variants of the Galaxy S line that ultimately replaced

flagships.
After a two - year experiment with the «edge» model, Samsung has done away with the
