Great pizza is chewy and crispy with a perfect combination
of flavorful cheese and tangy tomato.
Any heat you like: jalapeno, hot sauce Salt & Peper to taste (remember to go easy on the salt) 2 Slices of bread (will use the crust) 2 tablespoons chopped onion (or to taste) Handful of spinach 1/2 Bell Pepper Any other veggies you like Sprinkle of Gorgonzola or Asiago or other flavorful cheese
Choose
a flavorful cheese that melts easily, such as sharp cheddar, gouda or pepper jack.
We like the salty, nutty flavor of Parmesan, but you can use
any flavorful cheese.
I would try replacing the cheddar with another semi-hard,
flavorful cheese, though.
If, like someone else who posted, you don't like blue cheese (who doesn't like a good roquefort, I don't know, but I digress...), you can always substitute a quality,
flavorful cheese (keep in mind that the recipe will get much of it's flavor from the cheese).
