Thanks Tina — I know what you mean about the flavor of
the flax meal because I'm not a huge fan either.
I don't mean to go on and on but everybody should make this bread and everybody should buy
that flax meal because flax because obviously all flax meal is not created equally so have a blessed day and thank you so much for this recipe which has changed everything for me when it comes to having sandwiches and everything else.
So I made these with a cup each of almond flour and
flax meal because I only had a cup of almond flour left, and did the method of whipping the egg whites.
I made it with the golden
flax meal because that's what I had and it was absolutely outstanding.

I always grind the seeds to make
flax meal or use
flax oil
because the whole seeds don't actually digest.
I tweaked it a little — whole wheat flour, oat bran,
flax seed
meal, light on sugar, added walnuts, used Jack Daniels
because we didn't have bourbon... but oh my, they are delicious, and I especially love that they aren't sticky / gummy in that way that banana bread so often is.
I omitted the
flax meal (
because it's not an ingredient I keep on hand) as well as the honey (
because I am on a sweetener - free / fruit - free program right now to try to break my addiction to sugar), and it turned out a bit salty - tasting, but otherwise, great!
I did add a few things, raisins, 1/2 c br.sugar, 1 tab cinnamon, i also used dark
flax meal only
because golden was out of stock.now it's a cinnimon raisin bread, i will try this week your orig recipe.
I substituted almond
meal for the
flax meal (
because my husband can not eat
flax), olive oil for the coconut oil, and honey for the agave.
Flax meal can work as the opposite as a structure builder in cakes
because its slippery nature holds onto moisture.
Almond and
