As the pictures show, the cable isn't long enough to comfortably use the cable when right - side up in landscape, but if
you flip it over the cable length is okay, but still not ideal.
You no longer have to
flip over the cable to ensure it's correctly oriented, and although it won't be compatible with all the micro-USB chargers out there, we're expecting to see more and more Type - C devices in the next few years.

It seems inevitable that standard USB Type - A
cables need to be
flipped over 4 or 5 times before they magically fit, and this takes out all the silliness of what has almost become a tradition
over the years, and still has zero compatibility problems for things like quick charging.
