I have found a
weird taste when I don't have finely ground enough
flour (like Bob's Red Mill), but a few pulses in a blender / food processor usually takes care of it.
No bitterness, no
weird flour flavors, just the
taste of normal bread.
I have used two we have readily available here but I find that esp one has potato
flour as the top ingredient and it can have a
weird taste.
