By the way - my tip for some pretty impressive Herbes de Provence - style mixed herbs - buy cheap sachets of individual herbs (eg tarragon, thyme, rosemary, basil) and mix them up
in a
large jar with some dried lavender
flowers (purloined from a neighbour's garden or a public park if you have» t got a plant yourself - you only need about three heads of
flowers to give a lively tang to some mixed herbs).
To get that «farm fresh» feel, I bought the most casual white
flower I could find at Trader Joe's and plopped them
in a
large glass
jar.
The mini milk can fit them perfectly but I was not going to take a chance putting water right
in the faux milk can so I got a little creative and put the
largest mason
jar I had into the milk can, filled it with water, and then added the
flower bouquet to the mason
jar.
My mom separated my wedding bouquet, dried the
flowers and placed the whole bouquet of
flowers in a
large glass
jar.
