While United may not be a great option for Hawaii, it's still my favorite all - around frequent
flyer program so I tend to focus more on Chase Ultimate Rewards than MR.. You may also notice Marriott is not a transfer option here either, but that's not a problem
since SPG will be folding into the Marriott program within the next year or so and you can currently transfer any of your SPG
points into Marriott
points and vice versa.

The Business Green card is a lot more flexible than the Gold Delta Business card

points are incredibly valuable
since you can either use them to book travel directly through the online portal or you can transfer them to one of their rewards partners such as United, Southwest or British Airways where they become true frequent
flyer miles in those programs.
Since BA is an airline partner of UR you can transfer
points to Execuive Club, the airline's frequent
flyer program.
(This actually seemed a bit random to me,
since each facet is an entire module of travel hacking in itself with multiple resources — case in
point: couch surfing)-- but it's an introduction to new ideas as a complement to frequent
flyer mile accumulation).
Why We Like It: Starpoints ® are valuable and quite flexible, meaning this hotel - branded card is good for a lot more than just earning free hotel stays — like free flights
since you can redeem your
points with more than 150 airlines or transfer your
points directly to one of about 30 frequent
flyer programs (transfer 20,000 Starpoints ® and receive 5,000 bonus
points).
Transferable
points can be a better hedge against future devaluations for future international travel,
since these
points can be transferred to several different frequent
flyer and hotel loyalty programs.
We don't have frequent
flyer status with any airline, or any hotel elite status (
since the best luxury hotels, such as Aman Resorts, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and luxury boutique hotels don't belong to loyalty programs), so our primary miles and
points earning is from credit card signup bonuses, category bonuses, and credit card spend.
