I always get excited about airline upgrades and
flying Business Class makes the journey so much more comfortable.

The way Delta has set up its SkyMiles program leaves you with a couple decisions to
make if you want to
fly in
business class.
If you plan on
flying business class, then a mileage card may
make sense.
For Aussies on the east coast, why not
make the journey special and
fly Emirates A380
business class over and return on Emirates A380 first
class like we did.
Cathay Pacific's
business class seat has long been considered an industry leader, and it's just what you need to
make flying fun.
Flying business class to Israel or North Africa (both part of the European region) would
make a stellar use of these awards.
If you are
flying and need to carry multiple bags, then factoring in the savings of waived baggage fees on
business class flights can
make it almost worthwhile on their own.
This is no guide on how you can somehow
make a living out of
flying business class.

fly around the world in economy

making up to 15 stopovers (five per continent) along the way.
The Dreamliner's
Business Class cabin is reputedly nicer than the
Business Class cabin on the A380 (our other option) and I had never
flown in the British Airways 787 - 9 so it would
make for a good review.
Earn award miles on qualifying Coach or
Business class fares per segment on Amtrak when you
fly United and

American have continued their assault on award redemptions to Hawaii by implementing a 40 % increase in the number of miles needed for a
Business Class ticket but, in the case of partner awards, this doesn't
make much difference as most people would be
flying to Hawaii on American Airlines and not a partner airline anyway.

fly American Airlines domestic flights with Avios and
business class flights to / from Madrid from several US cities
make this program a great way to use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
Flying business class on Qantas from the continental U.S. or Hawaii to Australia is a great way to
make this long journey.

All the examples I've provided above would allow you to
fly in First &
Business Class cabins for considerably less than the cash price of that cabin and that's part of what
makes Mileage Plus Miles such an attractive proposition.
As far as
Business Class flights go (Upper
Class and Club World), you generally need fewer
Flying Club miles than you do Avios and that can
make Virgin and attractive proposition.
While the economy cabin is absolutely nothing to get excited about (10 - across seating in the non-MCE section
makes it extremely tight and I would actively book away from this aircraft if
flying in Economy) the
business class cabin is a different story.
I usually manage to avoid paying for the poorer
Business Class cabins (unless they're a great deal) and I do a good job of
making sure I
fly in as much comfort as possible for the smallest possible outlay.
No one looking to book on WOW is going to be tempted to pay more to
fly on American so American can only really be hoping for
Business Class passengers to
make this route viable....

made - to - order food, and a long list of wines, beers, and...
Believe me, a good international
business class lie - flat seat will
make your parents — and anyone else who mostly
fly economy — very happy.
Unfortunately, this applies to all the cities in the US to which Asiana
flies, which
makes flights on their own planes equipped with the new «Smartium»
business class product more expensive than partner awards.

business class, and especially if you want to use free stopovers, I'm urging you to drop everything you might be currently doing and
make the booking now, rather than later.

When I visited Kenya in 2012, I
made a 3 day stop in Copenhagen

That status will get me 25 % tier bonus Etihad Guest miles on eligible flights; an excess baggage allowance of 10 kilograms; access to the Al Reem Lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport (even when
flying coach), as well as
business -
class lounges at other airports in the network where offered; and a guaranteed economy -
class seat on a sold - out Etihad flight, provided the booking is
made in an eligible fare
class and requested at least 48 hours prior to scheduled departure.
That said, a look at the award charts
made it clear when you'd be better off
flying BA vs. Iberia (BA for economy, IB for long distance
business class).
That chart has some real values, such as the ability to
fly business class between the US and Europe for 90,000 miles roundtrip instead of the usual 100,000, the ability to pop around Europe with several extra flights thrown in for 115,000 miles in
business class instead of 100,000 miles roundtrip plus another 20,000 miles for each and every additional intra-European flight, and the ability to
fly to Australia in
business class via Asia (not normally allowed on a single award ticket) for an extra 25,000 miles — and
make stopovers in Asia, and throw in Australian domestic flights at the same time.
