I'd be fine with planting a seed with Hammon for a future coaching gig, but I can't imagine hiring someone who's never been in
an FO before.
These types of decisions by MLS (again, not the Sounders
FO) is making it much easier to decide.
You can't have it both ways; you can't wish you had the results you want while ignoring facts about the results we have (or could have had if certain events had gone as
the FO had reasonably planned).
I noticed that the players are apologizing on Twitter for the start of this season, but haven't heard anything from
the FO.
I definitely agree with that plan, the problem however, is that I don't have the confidence that's how Hextall and
the FO will want to solve it.
I trust
our FO to make the right decision.
Glad to see
our FO isn't bogging us down with older / expensive players, but instead using a short term approach to solve immediate issues.
Blatt is kind of an outsider, despite his connections to
the FO.
I doubt there's much conversation in
the FO about this, but that's just a guess obviously.
Sounds like
the FO really wants to expand seating to profit on the extra ticket sales.
However,
the FO can make it up to me if they are aggressive in the safety market.
Is there a well run organization in the NHL that is doing well on
an FO level like say the patriots or the Warriors, or the they way we the Niners are?
When
the FO allowed initial ST holders to purchase multiple season tickets before clearing the wait list and then forming a deal with Stub Hub, and then follow all that up with significantly inflated individual game prices, it basically gave individuals an easy market to scalp cheap tickets.
I've had the conversation with my ticket rep and
the FO seems uninterested in taking this step.
It would make a person think twice about throwing down 4 figures to a stranger on Craig's List if there is a threat of a revoke from
the FO if they discover you lied about a familiar relationship.
The frustrating part is that
the FO created policies that allow certain ST holders to profit off demand money that could otherwise be allocated to building the club.
was their best chance at a 1st rounder also his best year so super hard to pull that trigger... but a well seasoned
FO may have... Point is Malone has done zero for his value which is becoming his M.O while taking credit for natural progression of 23 year olds..
I wish
the FO would just go to one extreme or the other.
FO says it's not playoffs or bust but yet they don't really focus on our young talent and then we get to the draft and it turns into a full on shit the bed panic because we don't know who's actually worth replacing or not.
Of course, this policy would decrease the amount of renewals, so
the FO can no longer brag about the renewal rate.
Hindsight is great, but at the time, the biggest concerns were around his shoulder,
the FO assessed most of Foster's issues correctly at the time.
There is no way
this FO will forgive a coach that doesn't make the playoffs and also doesn't develop..
Both are deserving, I trust
our FO has it's reasons for promoting Groh and keeping Duce where he is.
I have more trust in
this FO to nail defensive players late in the draft than I do offensive.
My own point - either we have an 8 year record of great
FO decisions, or we signed too many aging players pre-Garth and built the team wrong and he's fixing it.
My fear is Malone stays around to muck it up again and
the FO will also do their part with questionable moves..
So it's a win when GarPax are competent and do what any average
FO would have done also?
It's starting to feel a lot like the Jameer situation where coach will play him until
the FO forces his hands with a trade..
the only thing that comes to my mind is that
the FO is looking not just at Rubin but someone else, and have not made a decision which of the players is worth the little money we have left.
I'm
no FO fan but the reality is that if you don't have a generational player, you're pretty much playing for an ECF...... I can't imagine the article if written after the Brad for Beard story.
¥ @; = (im hurting inside cos people laugh at
me fo supporting England always) JW PLIZ WAKE AND LEARN FROM PAUL SCHOLESz life stly cos u areeeeee mo talented.
The article was written only two years after John's signing and in those two years,
FO whiffed on the ’11 draft and then signed current AS, Brad Beal.....
The FO has a plan to bring in lower level DLs (they found a hidden gem like Jarret whom they'll draft later) or some FAs.
Not a failure of
the FO, and the stats don't reflect the positions that these guys have been put in.
We don't know shinola about what the «issues» were and it's appears (based on Sherman's account) that
the FO made zero effort to discuss that with him or work through it.
Would prefer Draxler, Aubemeyang BUT would still be thrilled with Mahrez Mahrez is a proven PL winger, scores a lot of goals
fo a non-striker Mahrez would be awesome for Arsenal
Show your steel and go
fo it.
and I still don't think Dez gets released unless
the FO is concerned that Dez locker room and sideline antics is really hurting Dak and the team.
But maybe they have been supporting
fo not too long so they do nt jnow the histroy and the struggle — not having to sell — ending that dry spell with the fa two years ago — retaining the fa this year — finishing 3rd so we avoid the ucl play offs — Alexis.
I think
the FO wants their WR group to look something like this... Guys that are fast with wiggle... even if the WR is picked at 50, Kirk, Miller, St.Brown, Chark... all guys with speed that can separate.
Perhaps you can expect a top 10 draft pick to be better if you think of
the FO as infallible, but I think after year 3, we all should have had a pretty good handle on what kind of player Ebron was no matter what the perfectly genius FO decided on draft day.
If I were
the FO then I'd be more comfortable letting Gattis try to work his way out of this than plugging White in and hoping for the best.
Though the only scenario I see Kemp coming up to replace Fisher is if
the FO wants Fisher to get regular ABs back in Fresno.
I think it is possible that the entire
FO could have made different decisions that would have given us a few more wins, but honestly what would be the point?
We don't need any more players to win the PL or FA Cup (this season) We need our current injured to come back We also need Theo, Ox and Joel to score more goals All our team to hold on to their best quality and work rate and belief
fo just 3 more months
The guy is a good player but in my book he never gave hos whole for the team as
fo ex Alexis does.
On Sanogo I don't think we will miss him,,, chance
fo Pod 9 n probably J Camphell to shine....
If
they fo sell our best players and do nt recruit replacements then I hope Wenger comes out and says it was out of his hands!
Thanks so much for this recipe, it's a crowd pleaser
fo sho!
