Let's get the fun part out of the way.

focus, something which doesn't exist so much in Endless
mode which simply gives you a company and
lets you get on with it.
It makes you wonder why they would
focus any effort on adventure
mode that «
lets you explore the ninja world» when it's arguably the weakest part of their game.

focus for Nintendo was the 60 frames per second - occasionally the resolution will be scaled down when there is too much ink displaying on the screen - Nintendo reduced the CPU load and refined the way to use CPU power effectively to maintain 60 fps in all matches - weapons were tweaked to
let players be more creative by thinking about unique weapon characteristics and their best uses - weapons are designed to be effective when they are used during the right occasion - Special weapons are stronger than the original ones when used in the right situation, but weaker otherwise - the damage and effect of slowing down your movement when you step in the opponent's ink are reduced from original - you can jump up in rank if you're good enough, but only up until S - you can't jump up from C, B or A to S + - when you win battles in Ranked
mode, the Ranked meter fills and your rank goes up when its fully filled - when you lose a battle, the gauge does not decrease, but the meter starts to crack - once the meter reaches its limit, it breaks - when the meter breaks, you have to start over again from the beginning or from a lower rank - highest rank is still S +, but if you fill up the Ranked meter, you get numbers after the alphabet such as «S +1», «S +2» and so on - maximum number is «S +50», but this number will not be displayed to your opponent - you are the only one to see it, and you can check it on your own status screen - Ranked Power is calculated by an algorithm to measure how strong each player is with minuteness - this will determine if a player's rank is worthy of receiving a big jump (like from «C» to «A»)- Ranked Power has no relation to your splat rate, and is more tied into to how well you lead your team to victory - you won't drop off more than one rank even if you play poorly - stage rotation time was changed to two hours - this was done because the devs expected people to play for an hour or so, but they found people play much longer - with Salmon Run, Nintendo considered how to implement a co-op oriented
mode in a player - versus - player type of game - the devs will monitor how users are playing this
mode to see if there's some tweaks they can throw in - more Salmon Run maps will be added in the future, but Nintendo wouldn't comment on adding more enemy types to the
mode - rewards are changed each time Salmon Run is played - you can obtain rewards when playing locally, but not gear - originally Nintendo had an idea for this
mode, but had no background setting, enemy designs, etc. - Inoue suggested that it should be salmon - themed - when Nintendo hosted the Splatfest that pit Callie against Marie, the development of Splatoon 2 had started - the devs had already decided to have the result reflected in the sequel - they even had an idea to announce the Splatfest with a phrase «Your choice will change the next Splatoon» - the timing to announce a sequel wasn't right, so they decided against this - they eventually released a series of short stories about the Squid Sisters to show how the Splatfest affected the sequel's story - Nintendo wouldn't say if Marina is an Octoling, and noted that Inklings are not paying attention to this too much - Inklings don't care about appearances, as long as everyone is doing something fresh - the Squid Sisters had composers who produced their songs, but Off the Hook are composing their music by themselves - Pearl is genius artist, but she couldn't find a right partner because she's a bit too edgy - she eventually found Marina as a partner though, and their chemistry is sparkling right now - Nintendo is planning a year of content updates for Splatoon 2 - when finished, the quantity of stages will be more than the original - some of the additional stages are totally new and some will be arranged stages from the first game - not all original stages will return and they are choosing stages based on the potential for them to be improved - Brella is shotgun-esque weapon, so the ink hits your opponent more if you are closer - it can shield damage when you open it, but the amount of damage has a limit and once it reaches it, it breaks - you can shoot ink, but you can't use the shield feature when it breaks - the shield won't prevent your allies ink - there are more new weapon categories which haven't been revealed yet - there are no other ranked
modes outside of the three current options - the future holds any sort of possibility, but the devs didn't get specific about adding more content like that - for the
modes, they adjusted the rule designs so that players will experience the more interesting aspects
Moving away from the gameplay,
let's
focus on the game
modes being offered.
While some of these
modes can be a lot more challenging with their
focus on upping the difficulty, the rest of them give more shine to some of the other characters from Shantae's adventure and
lets you control them, including the main antagonist.
It's not that minigames or aimless wandering are necessarily fun (because they can often be quite the opposite), but that even games
focused almost entirely on combat break up the action have lulls to
let the player breathe and alternate gameplay
modes and areas to keep things interesting.
MotoGP 2016 championship content will still feature, but the main
focus will be on Valentino Rossi in a
mode that
lets you relieve the career of the nine - time MotoGP champion.
A Tutorial is included to assist new players as well as a campaign
mode that
lets players
focus on easier opponents until they \'re ready to take on greater challengers!
Its gameplay truly is unique, and one of the main reasons many of us critics had so much fun playing through the campaign and the game's Chaos Squad
mode, but if you haven't watched any
Let's Plays, and have only based your opinion on the various trailers and commercials, then you probably think this game is for ADD riddled minds that can't
focus on one thing for more than five seconds.
It's getting better over time, but we still want a Pro
mode that
lets you capture RAW+JPG, while also giving you fine manual control over exposure, white balance, shutter speed, ISO, and
focus.
The fixed -
focus selfie camera isn't a patch on the best 5 - megapixel front cameras on phones, but it does have plenty of
modes and a neat shutter mechanism that
lets you drag away from the shutter button to instantly set a timed delay.
Samsung has also developed a «Live
Focus»
mode that
lets you take photos with both cameras at once, and use that extra data to artificially blur the background... or at least, what the camera thinks is the background.
For me, the highlight of the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro was the Portrait
mode that
let me take pictures with subject in sharp
focus while blurring the background.
Samsung says Live
Focus mode will even
let you combine both the standard field of view and zoom lens perspective into a single shot.
There is a new Pro
mode which will
let you adjust ISO, shutter speed, white balance,
focus and gain, too.
Moving onto the main event, or part of it, when you want to
focus in on a moment to bring out a dramatic look and feel, Portrait
mode lets you do that with both the front and rear cameras.
It's equipped with a refocus
mode that
lets you select the
focus area after you've shot the photo.
Samsung's Live
Focus feature
lets you control the depth of field, unlike some other smartphone cameras, by allowing you to adjust the bokeh effect in preview
mode and even after you take the photo.
You can play with optical zoom and toggle auto -
focus on and off, but there's no slow - motion
mode,
let alone any of the advanced manual controls that are available to still images.
Though there's no dual camera setup, both the front and rear cameras support Bokeh
mode, which
lets users click pictures with subject in sharp
focus, while the background is blurred.

let you take sharply
focused photos of an object while adding an artistic blur to background details.

The manual
mode lets you adjust
focus, white balance, shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation.
The camera app has a manual
mode which
lets the user change the white balance, ISO,
focus, and shutter speed, just like on a DSLR.
The portrait
mode lets you capture crystal - clear DSLR - camera - like selfies by
focusing mainly on your face.
Use live
focus: This is a new
mode that uses data from both cameras to create a depth map,
letting you create bokeh effects, or add or remove background blur at the time of shooting, or post shoot.
The interface itself is basic, gives you access to both stills and video with one tap, has a variety of simple shooting
modes but most importantly is quick to
let you tap to
focus and capture pictures.
There is also a manual
mode called Professional, what it does is that it
lets you decide where to keep
focus, how much should be shutter speed, what is the appropriate white balance and ISO, as well as you can increase or decrease the exposure level according to need.
Also featured is slow - motion video, timelapse, slow exposure (for those times you want light trails), Super Night
mode (for better night time shots) and the full manual
mode which
lets you adjust white balance, exposure, ISO sensitivity, shutter speed and
focus as you please.
It's obviously not a true aperture change, but the purpose of this
mode is to
let you alter how much motion blur there is in the background, while keeping everything in the foreground in
focus.
