The principle behind Pure Barre's proprietary technique is to use precise,
focused movements to
work each major muscle group — including arms, thighs, seat and
abdominals — to the point of fatigue, and then stretch the muscles back out to create a strong, lean and toned physique.
In our practice, we can activate this life energy by
focusing on twists and
abdominal work, which will neutralize and fire up the core.
By
focusing on balance exercises during the General Physical Preparedness Phase, I have been not only deconstructing my technique in basic lifts such as the bench, squat, deadlift, kettlebell snatches and cleans, etc..., I have also been
working on joint stability,
abdominal strength, and postural imbalances.
Firstly, do not put so much
focus on
abdominal exercises, but instead start doing workouts which do not
work your abs directly.
However, this video is more
focused on ab strength and
focusing specifically on
working the
abdominal muscles.
Focus on building up your core lifts such as Squats (front and back), Shoulder Pressing, Dead lifts, and a lot of
abdominal and grip
work.
Make sure to
focus the
work on the
abdominal as much as possible.
Focuses on
abdominal muscles with special emphasis on lower abs, also
working other muscle groups.
