If you wait longer than that, your special enrollment period will be over, and you'll have to wait until
the following open enrollment period.
(2) For enrollments made under any annual open enrollment periods for benefit years beginning on or after January 1, 2016, the Exchange must ensure that coverage is effective as of January 1 of the year
