You can change the size of the
font and whatever one you select instantly appears
on the screen, without the need of existing the reading
menu and saving the options.
For some reason the
font doesn't render properly with ePubs
on the Glo HD if you just sideload it and choose it from the
menu — it has to be embedded to display properly.
The application features voice - guided
menu navigation, large
font sizes, high contrast reading mode, keyboard navigation and accessible shortcuts, as well as text - to - speech reading with adjustable voice settings for customers who have an external screen reader program installed
on their PC.
At least
on my Kobo Aura (not H2O), there is a single margin slider in the
font menu.
Not overwhelming so it looks bubbly or like a cartoon, but you can tell they really took their time to ensure that

There are a few things about the Sony PRS - 650 that could use improving, mainly the same things that are listed
on the PRS - 350 review: the lack of styling options, such as changing line - spacing, margins,
font type, etc, all of which requires adding
fonts and editing the CSS file of an ebook to change styling; the fact that landscape mode breaks pages into two sections for ebooks, showing duplicate sentences; and other minor annoyances like having to go through multiple
menu selections for certain features and settings.
There are a vertical line of Skittles coloured buttons along the area
on the right side that manages the

If you tap anywhere near the top inch of the screen, you'll bring up the
Menu bar, which has the same controls as you'll find

Menu!!
B&N made a few minor cosmetic changes to the homescreen and library, they added a couple of new
fonts, and they removed the
menu that used to come up when pressing the «n» button (now it takes you to the homescreen) but overall the software is still 95 % the same as it was
on the Nook Glow and Nook Touch.
Swiping to the left turns the page, and a tap
on the screen will call up Kobo's toolbar and settings
menu, which enables
font and page layout customization.
Don't use the
font and paragraph tools
on the
menu at the top of the screen to make these adjustments (except to adjust specific text, with something like italics, within the paragraph).
You can change
fonts by pressing up or down
on the navigational pad and by pressing in
on the center of the navigational pad you can access the
Menu.
Printing: If your browser is improperly printing some pages with text cutoff
on the right edge then print in Landscape mode or reduce the
font size (View
Menu - Text Size) and margins (File
Menu - Page Setup).
For example, one of the choices
on the
font menu is «publisher
font.»
One example: the
font size
menu stuck
on the screen once, with no way to return to the
menu bar until I changed sizes.
There's a little icon stuck in the bottom
menu bar, giving you easy access to a little, very basic, notepad that floats
on top of the home screen, and the clock
font seems to be a custom addition, but the rest of the layout is the bog - standard one we've grown all - too accustomed to over the last year.
It sounds like it's a way to increase the size of
menu items, book covers, and other parts of the user interface, similar to the system - wide
font size option
on Fire tablets.
One thing I am truly impressed with is how the icons and
fonts are not small or cutoff in certain
menus on my Bold.

While reading you can press the center of the navigation button to bring up the

on the nav controller to change

menus are crude and claustrophobic;

font of an I.B.M. Selectric; and there's no scroll wheel or touch pad for navigation.
