Without a doubt, one of the most rewarding things
about food blogging is all the amazing friends I've made along the way.
I'm currently flying back from a pretty awesome
food blogging conference where I definitely had all the foods, all the drinks, and all the fun.
I think one of the challenges I have
with food blogging, especially today, is the fact that it's such a profession now.
So, before I
started food blogging when I came across a recipe that used squares of baker's chocolate, I turned the page.
I have enjoyed creating and sharing my recipes but also love how
food blogging provides us a vehicle in which we stay connected to and get to meet people who have similar interests.
Not just because of the salted caramel brownies that I'm going to need in my belly ASAP, but because of your honesty and insight
into food blogging.
But like you said, to each his own and if I've learned anything in my short
food blogging career is that tastes vary SO much!
I sometimes think about
how food blogging has changed my cooking, and your post has had me pondering this.

The fellow bloggers that I have met
at food blogging conferences this year have been the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met in my life.
In the past we've celebrated this day with a «virtual progressive dinner party» hosted by me and
several food blogging friends.
We got to know each other over the past year or so
through food blogging, and I always find her writing super inspiring.
Cooking and sharing meals with family and friends is central to our culture, and perhaps a reason
why food blogging is a natural extension of myself.
This was my
third food blogging conference that I've attended, and definitely the best one so far.
I knew there were a ton of food blogs out there but I never knew this
fabulous food blogging community existed.
So now you have the basics of copyright and defamation as they relate to issues
in food blogging, how do you protect your own work?
You might have noticed I started focusing
on food blogging a lot more back then because quite frankly it was just easier.
After you've been
food blogging for a while, you find that friends and family start consulting with you on culinary issues.
I am very excited to jump start into the world
of food blogging and share my recipes and experiences in my own little corner of the web.
And talking about this opportunity, quite honestly, I never thought that such opportunities could come my way
through food blogging.
I've long said that one of the very best things to come
from food blogging are the friendships that have been formed along the way, and today's post is an excellent example of that fellowship in full effect.
