I also wouldn't recommend
food coloring because it's 100 % artificial (unless you use the natural kinds).
I used canned beets and substituted coconut milk for
the food coloring because I wasn't particularly interested in the red color.
I decided to add a drop of red
food coloring because I really, really, really wanted pink possets.
