Two of my nieces spent part of the night arguing
over who would get to help me in the kitchen the most, and my
food - phobic nephew was third in line for what's sure to be the best
dessert I'll make this summer: a build - your - own ice cream sandwich bar.
My cousin's wife brought

It is a little harder now that my oldest can read that fries are a choice or that the
dessert comes free with her meal, but she is also old enough to start to understand why we choose certain
foods over others.
In a 2015 post titled «Letting Off Some Steam,» I vented my frustration
over the fact that this artificially - colored and - flavored frozen blue
dessert from SideKicks qualifies as a school
food «fruit.»
A big part of making
over your diet during January is dependent on eliminating not just
desserts and unhealthy
foods but also
foods that are imitations of the exact thing you are missing most (i.e., cookies, pizza, ice cream, etc.).
I'd become entranced by the smell of the delicious
foods, the social ambiance, the clanking of wine glasses, the sumptuous
desserts, and before the meal was even
over, I knew I'd feel guilty and regretful yet again.
