food for thought around the blogosphere.

While spring definitely hasn't sprung
around here, I kept
thinking what a quick and delicious side this would be
for grilled
food come better weather.
After parading five hundred tons of sweets
around here I
thought it was time
for something a little bit healthier — but it had to be good, because
food that tastes like cardboard is definitely not allowed on this blog.
I'm constantly
thinking of ways to make unprocessed
food fun
for my kids and this recipe was a hit all
around.
Usually my «meatloaf» recipes involve nuts because I
think they add a heartiness to the dish but since I do try to create recipes
for people with various
food allergies, I nixed the nuts this time
around.
I'm sure most people who knew me had already written me off as a lost cause,
thinking I was doomed to a life of fast
food and Velveeta; I might well have been if it weren't
for a sudden explosion in my tastes that happened
around this time.
And I am confident that all of the initiatives being formed
around the world will spread and set precedence
for the way we

Food Systems in the future, and impact the choices we make.

think it is fairly universal that babies start eating solid
foods as their teeth start to come in, but what those

food products produced using actual animals... cow's milk, goat milk, cheeses, burgers, bacon (pigs are considered one of the filthiest animals on the planet — they defacate where they sleep, roll
around in it, eat rotted
food, yet no one seems to
think twice about eating any part of them).
But it is clear that the range of temptations is greater in a world of plenty - just
think for a moment about the
food and drink being offered

around us, all of the time.
Other ongoing attempts: I let Baby V make a mess with her
food to encourage a deeper understanding of what she's eating; every so often, I spin her
around to boost her balance and coordination; and I give little massages that some researchers
think might be good
for her, though others point out how shoddy the evidence is.

thought hot dogs were the healthiest
food around, some new research will come as a sad surprise.
When people are eating junk

think, «That's okay
for them because it's not my body.»

When I hear the words Whole -
food / Plant - based or WFPB
for short, I
think of an eating pattern that is strongly centered
around whole (or at most very minimally processed) plant
foods and that minimizes animal
food and highly refined plant
foods to at most occasional feature of the diet constituting a few percent (10 % at most, IMHO) of calories.
Apply that to
food, and constant mini-meals: the schedule, or
thought that your next meal is right
around the corner, produces a desire and excitement
for eating.
For some reason, nutrition authorities
think it's a good idea to base our diet
around foods that are low in vital nutrients.
I
thought it could benefit if «rigorous» experiments could be planned
around Guggulu (also specifically
for people with Indian
food habits and genes — 1 / 6th of the world population is Indian!).
Food suddenly embraces this very cozy, comforting air
around it — like a snuggly blanket
for your belly (which is cute, if you don't
think about the imagery too literally).
In the meantime, I
thought I would get everyone's enthusiasm going

So the next experiment is to input the
foods and amounts that an average person might reasonably consume (without any
thought to protein combining)
for three meals and snacks as well that total up to
around the standard 2000 calories into cronometer and see what the protein picture looks like.
You may
think you have acid stomach but really it is seriously failed digestion due to mineral deficiencys & sitting or lying
around for more than 1 hr after eating — the
food in the upper stomach gets very sour & is supposed to then fall - descend into the lower stomach section, but if you're not standing up it will remain in the upper stomach area & keep getting more acid'til it burns badly & can only be vomited.
You mentioned Matt Stone — initially I
thought he was kind of off - the - wall, but I have gradually been coming
around to his point of view... allowing the body to replenish glycogen stores fully and sending the signal that there is plenty of
food can (I believe) be a very powerful tool
for hormonal balance.
While I
think it misses its mark in this regard — there are plenty of adults, young and old, who have legitimate reasons
for their specific dietary needs — this doesn't change the fact that tensions often run hot
around holiday
food traditions, regardless of the reasoning.
Based on the fact that my last
food for thought post was in May, we may be a little off
around here.
Try talking to the person sitting next to you about that last play, high five everyone
around you when the team scores, or ask someone in the line
for food and drinks how they
think the whole season will go.
And since we've had two SpotPass gifts now

think it's safe to assume we'll be getting another gift
