I feel like I struggle with
food photography so that means so much!
Oddly enough, I'm really into photography and have the kit but I'm not into
food photography so most of my blog photos really are quick snapshots.
Not exact matches
At that time I took all my photos in my student kitchen in such yellow light and the
food looked pretty inedible,
so I started working on my
photography skills and learnt a lot along the way.
There is
so much inspiration as
photography as
food, i'm
so in love with that publication.
I get a lot of questions about

As a
food blogger, you spend
so much time learning and practicing
photography that when someone like BHG acknowledges one of your photos it feels like a really big deal.

I finally got a decent camera for Christmas,
so I'm hoping to learn a little more about
food photography.

so excited to announce that I will be hosting a 3 - day (4 - night)
food styling and
photography workshop in my dear Seattle in August 2014 with Ace Camps.We will get to spend 3 days talking about
photography, light,
food, how to cook it and style it.
As happens
so often, I found you (Baked) by accident and was incredibly and immediately blown away by the most beautiful and stunning
food photography ever!
SO yesterday, when I was talking about

I've had an interest in
photography for a long time, being most drawn to still life,
so food photography came quite naturally to me.
I hardly ever take pictures of my dinner because natural light works best for
food photography (at least for me)
so I shut down my camera when daylight starts to wane.

This past week, I pre-made 24 vegan pumpkin muffins
so they could spend the entire 45 minutes experimenting with
food photography: different backgrounds, angles, lighting, poses etc..
It gives you
so many information from the basis of
food photography to camera settings to the usage of light (artificial and natural), composition but also your workspace.
I'm also
so glad to have discovered her blog, it's another healthy
food (no sugar or grains) blog with seriously gorgeous
photography!

so easy to get in a loop of my own style and approach to
food and
photography.
And as always on these workshops, it is
so inspiring to meet other
food photography nuts and just sit down and chat about those things that «normal» people just don't get.
True to the title, the
food really is vibrant, and I love that the
photography, which is light - filled and richly colored, compliments the bright and healthy feel of the
food so gorgeously.
I love the addition of sprinkles Making ice cream is
so much fun, but
food photography is not.

I have
so much more to learn and the perfectionist part of my nature is chomping at the bit to master
food photography.
But I've never bothered to learn the basics of
food photography, nor do I use a real camera, and half the time the meal looks
so downright gross in a cellphone photo that I decide not to share it.
Food photography is tricky in the first place,
so not sure how easy this would be to get a good picture, but how about pasta with sauce as a main dish?
I also love
food styling and

so like a true
