I remember how difficult it was in the beginning;

photos, learning ingredient names in English, just writing a text like...

photos can sometimes

As I flipped through books and magazine pages and browsed around the Internet I found beautiful looking brownies — and you know I am a sucker for beautiful
food photos — but as I started reading the recipes I did not feel like
making them: I was not in the mood of using 350g of chocolate and 500g of sugar to
make a 20 cm square brownie pan.
What I think
makes a great
food photo is color and texture, I cook with a lot of fruits and vegetables so I really try to
make them the focus of my
photos, fruits and veggies are very photogenic and
make pretty pictures in my opinion.

Not only was this my first guest post ever (and the end result amazingly delicious too), but the
photo you see here is the best
food photo I've ever taken... and the one that
made me think I just may be getting the hang of this
food photography thing.
I haven't
made this yet, but I think your
photo of the Vegan Butter Platter is really creative and one of the most beautiful
food photos I've ever seen.
While I can definitely empathize with your predicament, I like blue cheese and think these Sky Blue Potatoes sound terrific (although I thought you were going to write that they were
made with real, blue potatoes — which would have blown me away as I'm always tempted by the unusual, especially when browsing
food photos!)
It is often right around dinner time (I serve what I
make for
photos for dinner), so the kids are whining and the dog is trying to snatch the
food off of the table while I take pics.
Mug cake is something I've been seeing a lot of on
food blogs that I still haven't gotten around to trying yet - your
