For most people, any diet that is closest to
paleo, is a better option, as they are little less strict and you get some room to include some
foods not allowed in strict
paleo version.
And to answer your second question, while brownies are the kind of
food that I will only have as an occasional treat, having a
paleo version of the treat allows me to splurge a little without derailing from my strict
paleo lifestyle...
It's basically going to be all about how to cook healthy, real
food, modern
paleo food — modern
paleo is my

paleo where I believe that you can include

When I first started the
Paleo diet, I spent a lot of time and energy trying to recreate

foods I ate on the Standard Australian Diet (SAD) like breads, waffles, yoghurt, pancakes etc without pausing to consider if these were the kinds of
foods that would help me achieve my goals.

Paleo, Whole30, or Gluten - free).
When compared to the traditional
food pyramid, the
paleo diet's
version of the
food pyramid is much simpler and it makes better sense too.
I am a clinical physiologist & am following 40 + clients on
versions of this program, tracking biometrics / labs /
food logs — some are at 2 yrs out... What I have observed for success (using
food logs), for the majority of both men & women to gain optimal results from a «
paleo» program....
