Bake the
tart for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown, then move the
tart onto a cooling rack and cool
for 20 minutes, then brush top of pears with melted
jam.
Now, Ina brushes the apples with a apricot
jam glaze (a trick my mum always uses too) but I opted
for a tahini caramel instead — drizzled over the
tart whilst still warm.

jam / jelly to glaze
tarts with very good results....
Tip:
For some extra sweetness, spread the
jam on the bottom of the
tart shell before spreading with ricotta!
For example, the chia seeds in this cranberry sauce give it a
jam like texture (although it's a bit more
tart than
jam).

Powidl is a thick plum
jam that is made with no sugar, only very ripe plums are used, that are cooked
for several hours up to a day until it becomes a thick dark plum puree, slightly
tart and tastes similar to dry plums.
Any kind of berry
jam would be delicious, but I wanted the full citrus effect and opted
for lemon curd (from Trader Joe's), which I think balances just the right amount of sweet and
tart.
I substituted 3/4 t. vanilla
for the Fiori di Sicilia, omitted the citrus peel and did not add water to the apricot
jam (The
jam was plenty runny enough by heating it in the microwave and omitting the water kept the
tart from getting soggy.)
The Staggies are 9/4
for victory, while it's 12/5 that Schalk nets anytime against the
Jam Tarts.
MY MOTHER - IN - LAW is a very good cook, and this easy egg dish, like zucchini lasagna, whole wheat
jam tarts and these good -

Jam, Red Onion Confit, Caramelized Red Onions — all different names
for the same thing: Rich, silky, sweet &
tart, this is a condiment that should be in everyone's fridge.
Half the berries get simmered in sugar and balsamic,
for a quick
jam / preserve kinda thing, and then the other half get folded into that, so sometimes you get a berry that's sort of chewy / syrupy, sometimes you get a fresh berry that's
tart and juicy, and all of it is slicked in this musty, fruity drizzle.
The outrageous stunts (such as illegally
jamming the Superbowl with a guerrilla commercial and hiring strippers to bump and grind on the cars like a Vegas sideshow) are more than simply high concept gags: Zemeckis and Bob Gale squeeze the limits of bad taste out of these lemons
for a deliciously
tart cinematic lemonade.
