I really have only two gripes with the G Watch R display experience: There's no ambient light sensor (which would allow

brightness setting), and the very last lines of text in Android Wear's context cards get trimmed off by the curvature of LG's display.
The display isn't perfect — dark areas appear a little over-dimmed, and the

brightness setting doesn't seem to ramp up aggressively enough even when maxed out — but it's an improvement on earlier Sony efforts

Perhaps more important, this «display ledge» as Motorola calls it allows
for a light sensor so the 360 can continue to offer
auto brightness, something no other round Android Wear watch is offering at the moment.
I kept the display in

brightness mode and it kept the things kicking
for most part.
The Storm can also become nice and bright when in less than ideal viewing conditions, although the inbuilt

brightness control can be a little timid when altering settings
