We spent the weekend getting caught up on some house stuff and
for me catching up on sleep and kicking the remnants of my cold out the door.

After a long overnight flight home with very little
sleep I haven't had the energy
for anything much today so I've been
catching up on what's been happening in the blogosphere and planning more recipes of my own to share soon.
My husband had been gone
for five months at this point, and the lack of
sleep was
catching up to me — we were in full
on survival mode.

on music and dance together, go

on Friday night

I've always been a nervous kid —

I just had an operation so i've
slept for literally three weeks and i'm having so much fun
catching up on your content!!
(and not gonna lie, so were my thighs after keeping myself upright
on a board
for over an hour) I'm giving my summer bucket list a little breather over the next few days and am looking forward to

sleep (if that's even a thing), and getting to some of my favorite workout classes.
Even though I'm zeroed in
on finishing the workweek, I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend already — not just
for the promise of
sleeping in, but also to finally

I decided to stay in town
for New Years (best decision ever) and spent the past few days
catching up on sleep, doing hot yoga, reading (highly recommend this book and this book), and trying new brunch spots with friends.
For now, it's time to

It's been a bit chilly here in SoCal and I am hoping
for a warm

I need to

Every time I leave
