The governor has in recent months said he will revive a
call for congestion pricing in New York City that would provide extra revenue for the transit system.
And during an interview Friday on WNYC radio, Mr. Cuomo again reiterated the
need for congestion pricing, saying «I'm pushing that very hard.»
Gov. Paterson, who announced his support
for congestion pricing on Friday, has submitted a congestion pricing bill to the State Legislature.
As for a congestion pricing plan, Austin Finan, a spokesman for the mayor, said in an email that «we'll review any serious and viable plan the governor puts forward.»
