cosmetic items, EA's plans were to allow players to purchase weapons and upgrades that would give players a huge advantage over their competition.
It'd be amiss to not mention the game features a
loot box system
for cosmetic upgrades
for the lobby area and your player profile, but none of it asks
for any real cash — it honestly all feels quite innocent and agreeable.

loot boxes there's absolutely no pay to win in this game, the
boxes are given out liberally as well and only contain skins

cosmetic in nature (granting some sort of goodie to make your character look cool), or time - saving, providing in - game cash to bypass grinding

NBA 2K18 is riddled with microtransactions, and Destiny 2 gets a bit of attention

cosmetic options that will come as part of the
loot box system.
Robocraft Infinity has pieces that are blocked
for non-premium players, insanely expensive blocks, two types of currency (one dedicated solely to
cosmetic items that can't even be obtained through in - game methods),
loot boxes featuring duplicate items, and much more.
Loot boxes also exist in the game, which is where you find most of these items, and you can procure implants to increase your XP, but it doesn't look like you should ever really need them unless you're desperate
for cosmetics.
Microtransactions have been around
for year, and have proved successful in triple - A titles (just look as FIFA's Ultimate Team modes and Overwatch's

Notably, Battlerite lets you pay $ 30
for an «All Champions Pack» which includes all playable characters, current and future, leaving only
cosmetic unlocks and
loot boxes.
While the game won't feature
loot boxes, the first major content update three months after release will include the ability to purchase certain
cosmetic items and even pets
for real life doubloons according to IGN.
But perhaps none are quite as important as the planned alterations to the game's
loot box system, called Eververse, which lets players pay money
