ebooks and paperbacks.
I fully expected more people to borrow these than to buy them (I honestly wanted
buyers to wait until the complete serial was available in one
ebook, as that would be a better deal
for them and
for me, too, since I could get the 70 % split on that).
When I was writing
for TeleRead, Scott Pendergrast told me «My brother, Steve, shopped the site around to a number of
buyers with the understanding that the current philosophy toward
ebooks would survive — and that presumably means that you'll still be able to buy non-DRMed books from Fictionwise when publishers allow.»
