In war times there has always been, and still is, a need
for a god of battles to spur men on to fight.
I don't feel a need
for a god in order to be ethical, honest, loving, social, etc..
I do
pray for Gods blessing on you, your family and all those who are included in your health care.
One can not prove a negative, however there is no evidence
for a god so why believe?
IF this young lady wants to
search for god, then I have nothing but hope for her.
But if we get tired of
waiting for Gods answer, then the result could be detrimental.
Yes, I
looked for god by Reading the bible, attending church services, exploring and appreciating nature, and by trying to submit my self to the will of the universe.
And go out in the last sixteen like we
did for god knows how many years?
It's impossible
for a god who inspires holy books to convey any knowledge beyond what was already available in the culture at the time?
This pastor which is in charged should be ashamed of himself and need to fall down to the alter and
ask for god forgiveness.
If the universe was created by a big bang, there is still
room for your god in the scenario.
If there was ever a good
time for god to be a bit proactive and send his kid down here to help, 1930 - 1945 would have been the time.
I
mean for gods sake, the trailer is just over 30 seconds and the «gameplay footage» doesn't really start until the 25 second mark.
I also take cards or quotes and put them in my kitchen so I will remember to pray often and be
grateful for Gods presence in my life, but the dishes.....
The dialogue feels more like a way to expand the plot but falls short since it is often boring and feels unnecessary (there is evil to be
fought for god's sake).
But if you wish to hope for something, wouldn't it make a lot more sense to
hope for some god that doesn't require any special sacrifices?
Unless you can show a rational
case for any god, it isn't rational to believe there is one.
As
for god if he didn't want drones he would stop them.
For whatever reason this is (marketing or stupidity, probably both) this madness has to stop... I mean, this is a fucking
trailer for god sake!
In chemistry we just have observed evidence, just as in
claims for gods existence.
By this I mean that science and technology are putting powers into the hands of human beings that have traditionally been
reserved for the gods.
The real problem with your argument is that it can be used to
argue for ANY god... not just the Christian one.
So that means that it's also
impossible for a god to have created life, because it would have had to have created life from nothing right?
But even so, that leaves only the
possibilities for your god to either know the future of our universe, or have the ability to affect it, but not both?
Like for god's sake do they think you gonna keep childbirth a secret for year after or what?
There are no methods to
test for god that yield any results that allow us to build up a knowledge of him like we can for the items you mention.
If the universe is so complex and wonderful that it could not occur on its own, how then do you
account for your god?
