Then after starting a gym routine that incorporated running, lil bit of sprinting, squats & lunges for about 2 months, my legs got bulkier & no longer looked lean.
In the first week of February I started boxing and kicking a standing punch bag for one hour a day, I found I looked much leaner lost a few inches from my arms waist and legs, but gained 1 kg in weight, and found it really worked my muscles, which got a bit sore and required a day or two of rest / shorter workouts to recover.

Fantastic blog hi my names Amber.Just wondering i do the Les Mills Body Pump class 4 times a week.I've just started decreasing my weight when I get to the squad track as my upper part of my legs were getting too big.Should this definitely help in making them a bit smaller?Thank you for the great advice to not do the incline on the treadmill to get leaner legs, makes so much sense but it just didn't click in my head.Take care awesome advice
Hi Becca, it would be better to do other leg exercises that use your entire body such as squats, burpees etc, (rather than machines) but just keep in mind that these type of exercises do build some muscle but are also great for leaning out your entire body.
A lean upper body with slightly increased muscle mass will allow for a powerful arm swing that proportionately improves leg drive.
Not sure) anyway my question is do you think stationary bike is good or bad for leaning out legs?
I would avoid the HIIT jumps for now as they won't help you lean out your legs.
