What you should look

It's also a great laxative, which makes it easy
for me to get all that black, tarry
meconium out of me and we can move on to the seedy, yellow - brown poops that are much easier to clean off my sweet tushie.
Since
meconium is made of amniotic fluid, mucus, skin cells, and other stuff ingested in utero, it doesn't really smell — so you may not realize it's time
for a diaper change.

for soothing diaper rash and getting rid of stubborn
meconium your baby might have during the first few days.

for disposable diapers, in fine writing and or the websites, they say to put the poop in the toilet (just like cloth users do) because
meconium and just poop are very bad
for the environment.
If you have
meconium - stained amniotic fluid, you may begin to worry about what this means
for the rest of your labor, especially if you were planning a birth center birth or home birth.
For newborns,
meconium analysis can detect fetal exposure to lead, mercury, cadmium and other toxic metals, DDT and pesticide exposure as well as alcohol, tobacco use and illicit drug use.
