Other Earth Day activities at Spring Brook Nature Center include sidewalk chalk drawing sessions for children and entertainment by folk singer Mark Dvorak from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Visitors are invited to bring picnic lunches and eat on the grounds of the center, which is operated by the Village of Itasca in cooperation with the Itasca School District and Itasca Park District.

Other activities to attend in our area on December 3 include: The SUBA Christmas Parade at 1:00 p.m. and Rock Cave Elementary School Craft Show at the Rock Cave Fire Department from 9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m..
